You can't get very far before you stumble on a word with Latin influence. In fact, some estimated 60 percent of English words have roots in Latin. (But don't be fooled by false Latin phrases that some books have popularized!)
While some people might view emoji as silly little characters, that's not how we see it. There's a sophisticated system in the way people use emoji, and that's something we take very seriously!
